My Experience and Achievements
Began at Dojo Karate - Waconia
November 2005
In 2005, my parents saw an article in the local news paper for a new karate studio opening in town. My father asked if I wanted to try it. I hesitantly said sure. Taking my first introductory class, I instantly fell in love. Little did I know this activity would have one of the biggest impacts on my life.
1st Degree Blackbelt
Spring 2007
At age 9, I tested for my first degree blackbelt. This time was emotional and very exciting. I was a part of the first group of students at Dojo Karate - Waconia to receive their first degree black belt.
2nd Degree Blackbelt
Fall 2010
At age 12, I tested for my 2nd degree blackbelt.
3rd Degree Blackbelt
Fall 2013
At age 15, I tested for my 3rd degree blackbelt.
NCKA Grand Champion

I have worked hard for this moment ever since I started competing as a blackbelt. On this day, I won my very first Grand Champion title for the 18-29 Women's Division with Traditional Empty Hand at NCKA Finals 2016.

This was my first year taking a step into competing in a world tournament circuit as a martial artist. I qualified in two events, Hardstyle and Traditional Weapons at WKC Nationals held in Detroit, Michigan.

Placed fourth overall for Team USA in the 18+ Women's Traditional Weapons Division.

June 2017
This was my second year making Team USA in the WKC circuit. This time I qualified in 4 events, Hardstyle, Korean, Traditional Weapons, and Freestyle. Also claiming title as National Champion, by earning 3 Gold medals and 1 finalist in my divisions.

At the NCKA MN State Karate Championships, I won my 2nd Grand Champion title for the 18-29 Women's Division with Traditional Empty Hand.

Placed Silver medalist in 18+ Women's Korean Division and Bronze medalist in 18+ Women's Freestyle Division.
All American Karate Cup Grand Champion

At the All American Karate Cup hosted by Dojo Karate, I won my 3rd Grand Champion title for the 18-29 Women's Division with Traditional Empty Hand, but also qualified with Traditional Weapons.

This is my third year making the Team USA team. I qualified in four events, Freestyle (Gold Medalist, National Champion Title), Hardstyle (Silver Medalist), Korean (Silver Medalist), and Traditional Weapons (Silver Medalist) at WKC Nationals held in Detroit, Michigan.
WKC Worlds - Dublin, Ireland
October 28, 2018 - November 02, 2018
Travelled once again to Dublin, Ireland representing Team USA. Overall, I placed as a Bronze Medalist in 18+ Women's Hardstyle and Traditional Weapons, Silver Medalist in 18+ Women's Korean, and Gold Medalist in 18+ Women's Freestyle. I also received 1st runner up in the WKC World Championship Night Show in the 18+ Women's Open Division. This tournament was a big step forward in my martial arts career.

Earned NASKA World Top Ten in 2018 for Women’s 18+ Hard Traditional Weapon Bladed, Japanese/Okinawan, and Korean.
